High Tea

All that is required is the space and chairs, we will bring absolutely everything else!

Part of the fun of a High Tea is pretending to be aristocratic. Putting on a pretty dress and marvelling at the delicate canapes and cupcakes. Believe me, even the most inelegant of diners can fake it at High Tea, if they just take heed of some simple rules and marvel at the ambiance.

Classic Katering has thought of every detail, from the set-up of the table & chairs (which include covers and bows, to the fine bone china crockery. You will not be surprised to note that the drinking of tea is also approached with the rigidity of a Victorian aristocrat. It is made in a teapot with leaf tea then poured, with milk and sugar added as required.

You have a choice of high tea menu, which must of course include freshly baked fluffy scones with fresh cream and homemade jam.

Complimentary champagne or Gin Tea is served on arrival and a gift is given to the hostess/guest of honour.
